With over 10 years experience in the mental health field, Joy manages to continue working and supporting individuals and their families through their challenging events.

As Joy continues to develop her career, she admits that her greatest joy comes from empowering others through self-awareness and inspirational coaching. She has a strong desire for mental health and strives to empower her clients through self-awareness.
Background Experience: Joy has worked with various populations as a social worker, therapist and case manager, as well as providing therapy and resources to many individuals and their families throughout the years. She has managed to provide resources to many individuals and families across Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties. She has worked with adults, children, teens, elderly, immigrants, substance use, hospital, behavioral units, crisis intervention, groups, domestic violence, low-income, and private practice.
Education: Joy earned her Licensed Clinical Social Worker license from the State of Florida Department of Health Division of Medical Quality Assurance. Joy received a Master degree in Social Work from Barry University, Bachelor degree in Social Work from Florida International University, and an Associate degree in Social Work from Miami Dade College. All degrees were earned from universities in Florida that are fully accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE).

She has worked in case management and has managed to provide resources to many individuals and their families across Miami-Dade county. Motivational coaching comes as second nature to her. She has worked with adults, children, teens, elderly, substance abuse, low-income, crisis intervention, groups, domestic violence, long term care, skilled nursing facilities, and private practice.
Education: Carla received a Master in Science degree in Mental Health Counseling from Barry University, Bachelor degree in Psychology from Florida International University, and Associate degree in Psychology from Miami Dade College. Carla is also a certified life coach. All degrees were earned from universities in Florida that are fully accredited by the Council for the Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP).
